WELCOME
The Fountain is a traditional, local Cornish pub with a warm welcome. Situated deep in West Cornwall mining country, not far from where Poldark was filmed, The Fountain is a free house that offers a great selection of local beers and satisfying homemade food. With its open beams, dressed granite floor and open fires, the old cottage-style Cornish inn is the only pub left in the parish of Sancreed, set in a quiet hamlet of Newbridge (Hal an Tegen in Cornish) on the Penzance-St Just road. After a 12-year closure, the pub was brought back to life by local landlady Tracey Bilby who refurbished the premises to bring it up to date with modern facilities.
THE KITCHEN IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED AND WILL OPEN AGAIN SOON
